The Help Fill A Dream Foundation is a Victoria-based charity that is dedicated to making sick children's dreams come true. The Foundation has granted hundreds of wishes for children under the age of 19 who have life-threatening illnesses. Previous Dreams have included trips to Disneyland, computers, helicopter rides, a wheelchair lift at a school and much more.
We here at Atomic Crayon were very impressed by the work Help Fill A Dream is doing and we wanted to support them as best we could. With that in mind, we approached the Foundation in May 2005 and offered to re-design their website. After they looked over our portfolio, they were very happy to agree, and the new design was underway.
The site was designed with a soft, colourful layout and custom-designed icons in order to reflect the positive emotions that Help Fill A Dream evokes. Photos of Dream recipients are shown in bright colour to display exactly who this Foundation has helped, and who they can help in the future. As well, a complete list of children who have had their Dreams fulfilled and what their Dreams were can be found. Dreams can now be submitted online, and a Media Room has been added that displays press releases and articles about the great work the charity does.
We are very proud to be working with this extremely worthwhile charity in this endeavour.
